The Kiwanis Club of Harbor Front was formed in 1974 to help in the efforts of Kiwanis International in its outreach to the children of the world. The Harbor Front Kiwanis Club focuses its efforts on the children of Hampton Roads. The HFKC also participates in the Capital District events.

Since 1974, the Harbor Front Kiwanis Club has raised and distributed more than $1.2 million to Hampton Roads charities and civic organizations with a special emphasis on children.
